“You is for Unique” had its official London launch at the Pitshanger Book Shop in Ealing W5 on 24th March 2010.

An enthusiastic audience of around 65 people crowded into the shop to hear Julia talk about her inspiration for writing the book, what it means to women and the connection to Sanctuary for Kids and why she had chosen the charity to raise money for.

After three lovely women had each read a chapter from the book to the delight of the audience, people purchased the book and queued patiently to get their personal copy signed by the author.

Julia would like to thank Walter and his family at Pitshanger Book shop for hosting the evening and to her three friends, Anne Hemingway, Mari King and Fiona Donovan for reading so beautifully.

The book continues its flight with a series of talks and signings by Julia in the beautiful area of Bromyard and Herefordshire from 22nd April to 24th April.  Details of these events below.
